The EU Handbook on victims of terrorism has just been published by the European Commission! Read about the contribution of EMDR to the psychological support of victims of terrorism

Last year, the EU Centre of expertise for victims of terrorism (EUCVT), set up by the European Commission in January 2020, invited Isabel Fernandez to contribute in the realisation of the EU Handbook on victims of terrorism.

The EUCVT’s aim is to ensure that national structures offer professional assistance and support to victims of terrorism in every EU country. It will promote exchange of best practices and sharing of expertise among practitioners and specialists across borders.

At page 15 of the Annex to the EU handbook on victims of terrorism 2021, EMDR is listed among the evidence-based trauma therapies with the most empirical support.
