On March 27th and 28th 2021, Isabel Fernandez, with the help of 5 Italian facilitators, organised a Level 1 training in EMDR in North Macedonia, funded by EMDR Italy and EMDR Europe. 50 therapists successfully completed the training, including psychologists from the Ministry and the Army of the Republic of Northern Macedonia. The training received enthusiastic feedbacks and it represents a further step towards the establishment of the EMDR Macedonian Association in North Macedonia. The foundation of a new National Association will open new opportunities for psychologists to participate in EMDR Europe international activities. The training would not have been possible without the huge support from Elisabetta Mottino, Italian psychologist living in Skopje and the Italian Ambassador Andrea Silvestri.
